Welcome to Life of a Hockey Parent – The Series

We've all been there. The early morning practices, the out-of-town tournaments, and that hockey bag that leaves a lingering odour in the minivan. So why do we do it? For the smiles on the kids' faces when they're on the ice - that's why.

In this special series titled "Life of a Hockey Parent," our beleaguered host Matt O'Neill takes us through several challenges that hockey moms and dads face. Matt has two boys in hockey, and knows all about the highs and lows of a typical season. You'll probably recognize several of these moments from your own experiences!

Our Mission

To promote, inspire and educate our youth the benefits of playing minor hockey and to illustrate the sense of community that surrounds minor hockey to present and future participants.
